Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 3:00pm – EOC Update: The RDCK continues to monitor water levels and assess the potential for flooding throughout the region. Water levels have receded somewhat, meaning a decreased risk of flooding—but rain and storms are forecast over the next few days so we are keeping a close eye on conditions. Intense, localized rainfall combined with high temperatures means that things could change very quickly for some areas. We encourage homeowners to continue to be flood prepared. Evacuation alerts remain in effect for Salmo and parts of Area G, and for parts of the Slocan Valley.
