The Corporation of the Village of Salmo is upgrading the mechanical and process equipment at our waste water treatment plant.  The existing plant operates as an activated sludge process, in an extended aeration mode.  The main system consists of two oxidation ditches, two clarifiers, and a sludge bagging system, with final effluent being pumped to rapid infiltration basins which are alternately flooded and allow to infiltrate.

Equipment Suppliers/Manufacturers are invited to submit proposals for any or all of the following equipment packages. (Please see both BC Bid and Civic Info websites for complete details.)

In order to track the Suppliers/Manufacturers for Addenda control, packages will be provided electronically directly from WSP in their Victoria, BC office.  Packages may be obtained after September 28th, 2017 by e-mailing to: [email protected]

Use the Subject Line “Village of Salmo WWTP Upgrading Equipment”.  The following information is required as part of the request:

The packages consist of two parts, but suppliers need only one GENERAL Document, even if proposing on multiple specific packages:

After proposal closing, WSP will review the submitted proposals and select for pre-purchase the most compatible/beneficial packages for the project.  After pre-purchase orders are placed, WSP will integrate the selected equipment into civil installation packages, which will be subject to a further Tender call.
