DOT Night

Each year the Village of Salmo and RDCK Area G select funding (grant) priorities for the CBT’s Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Program (CIP/AAP) for local organizations via a process called “DOT Night”, whereby all residents to come to a special “DOT Night meeting” meeting night and place their 5 allotted “DOTS” next to the organization they would like to see receive a grant for the year. Unfortunately, due to COVID this process has been suspended until large public meetings can again be held. Applications will be accepted through the CBT’s online 2022 Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Program (CIP/AAP) system.

The 2022 Proposal Intake Period for the Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs will commence Monday, January 3, 2022 and will end Friday, February 11, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. CIP/AAP proposal applications continue to be accepted only once per year and applications must be submitted through the Trust’s online application system.

Organizations are encouraged to carefully read through the 2022 Pre-Application Worksheet and Application Guide for important information and instructions.

The 2022 Application Guide and Application were developed by Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) based on the Board approved 2018 CIP/AAP Guidelines and Application (November 17, 2017 RES #680/17 and July 19, 2018 RES #504/18 regarding Nakusp/Rural Nakusp and Area K Bayview).
